Africa is over for the moment- back to snowy winter
Home sweet snow claden home- I mean the streets and earth- bad air of Kiev megapolis again - Egypt's Red sea is far away again with its nice blue sea and healthy desert air. My Mom got really suntanned to become virtually black- I got brown. We hauled many kilos of veggies and fruit today from open air bazaar in Hurghada and I shot some pics.

Hello from Egypt
It's hot and windy today at the Red sea resort. Still one more week to go and we enjoy the African jewels like good sunny weather, cheap fruit and transportation and Egyptian music channel.
I plan to put my Egyptian pictures next week after we fly home on Wednesday, in shaallah- God willing, in Arabic.
Now we go on windowshopping. Bye you all.

Update from me in Kiev, Ukraine
Hi dear friends,
Finally I typed my first blog in Russian letters. I'm back home for a visit until 9 March and then will be back to Norfolk home base. It's unusually sunny today maybe because there's my first day with decent internet connection at home and preparations for my trip to Egypt are under way. Weather was mostly bleak and cool - 30ish F- it's still warm winter here and I still have a cold from NYC I got in January. Since I don't have a lot to do here for a living, apart from selling German and American books, I stay at home. But I need to move around and breathe an unpleasant air of multimillion growing city. General impression of Ukraine after the US is an unhealthy one. People struggle against foes and as a result die young or suffer health deterioration without much expensive unreachable medical help. I got this info and impression from prayer meetings in Kiev church where I still a registered member. Also I went out of Kiev to visit a tiny church in Nezhin- 70 miles from Kiev.
In less than an hour I travel in a subway 10-cent a ride to downtown.
